This morning the Governor of Washington State made an announcement prohibiting gatherings of 250 people or more for events including social and sporting events in King, Pierce and Snohomish counties. The restriction will remain in effect until March 31, 2020 unless extended beyond that date. Therefore, TCMA has no choice but to cancel the St. Paddy’s Day Run Tacoma on Saturday, March 14th. We understand the disappointment but in light of the public safety issues and crisis with the COVID-19 outbreak, we fully support this decision. The safety and well being of our running community, volunteers and city officials is our first priority. We will now be offering a St. Paddy’s Day Run Tacoma as a virtual race. An email will be sent out shortly to all registered participants with further details on how we will proceed forward. We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your understanding during this time.

Awards

Ribbons will be presented to the top three overall male and female winners, and to the top three overall masters male and female winners. Age group ribbons will be given to the top five in each of the following divisions: 9 & under,10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-80, 80 & over.

Overall male & female winner in each distance will be given comped entries into the next year's race. 

      
      
USATF Awards Rules: If you win both an overall and age group spot you will be presented with both ribbons. For example: if you win both 3rd place overall and also win 1st place masters, you will receive both ribbons. Overall winners ARE NOT knocked out of their respective age group.
