  A portion of the net proceeds from the 2013 St. Paddy's Day Run Tacoma will benefit the Humane Society of Tacoma & Pierce County.
   
 
          
   
  The mission of the Humane Society is to protect and promote the well-being of animals and to foster positive relationships between animals and people.

Our Story

We open our doors to tens of thousands of homeless pets every year and find homes for more animals than any other shelter in the state of Washington.

Behind our mission is a vision of a community where animals are treated with respect, every pet has a permanent and loving home, and companion animals are spayed or neutered.

The Humane Society for Tacoma & Pierce County is an independent non-profit organization with 501(c) 3 status. We depend upon the tax-deductible donations of our generous donors.
  In honor of our beneficiary, we are allowing dogs to run or walk with you during the race. All pets must be on a short leash and remain well behaved.
